DOES MY DOG HAVE TO BE VACCINATED?
Yes. For the health and well being of your dog, others at K9 Capers and dogs we meet out walking, all our K9 Clients must be fully vaccinated, including Kennel Cough, and receive regular flea and worming treatment.
A copy of your vaccination & worming record is required for our insurance.
- Distemper
- Viral Hepatitis Leptospirosis
- Parvovirus, and
- Kennel Cough, which will require a separate vaccination
HOW WILL MY DOG BE
CARED FOR?
We encourage continuous training and good manners in our own dogs, and will be able to continue any training you are doing with your dog during their stay with us.
On meeting you and during the booking process, we will ask you about your dog's home routine and other aspects of their life, behaviour and personality.
I am K9 First Aid and CPR trained.

Above all, your dog will be looked after and cared for as one of the family.
For many dog owners finding a dog walker to exercise their dog off lead is a must. We fully understand however that for some K9 Clients being off lead can be difficult where they are perhaps nervous or don't have the best recall.

At K9 Capers dogs are only let off lead with their owner's express permission.
Only with your express permission, and that of the other owner.

We will only ever have K9 guests from 2 separate families staying at the same time, and never more than 4 guest dogs in total.
CAN WE MEET BEFORE
MY DOG'S STAY?
Of course - in fact we insist on it. It's important that your dog gets to know us and vice versa, so that they settle well into our family and K9 capers whilst you are away.
Yes - our garden is fully walled.
Yes. We are fully insured for 'K9 Taxi' services.
Within 1 mile of St Mawes, we make a nominal charge of £5 each way.
