DOG WALKING
Whether your dog needs a regular walk or you've got a hectic day coming up, your K9 companion can join in the fun of group walks which take us to dog friendly beaches & countryside for our K9 Capers.

Our Group Walks to the beach or local livestock-free fields are an hour long and give plenty of opportunity for off-lead fun, exercise and socialisation.
​
We collect our K9 clients in our air conditioned VW Transporter Woof-Wagon - fitted with bespoke comfortable doggy-pods where they travel in style! Dogs are collected during the ½ hour before their walk and dropped back home with towel dried paws and tums during the ½ hour afterwards.
Photographs and videos of our K9 capers are posted on our social media after each walk - and for those 'pawrents' not on Facebook and Instagram, photos and videos are sent by WhatsApp.

A little bit about Health & Safety, Security & Key Holding
We ask that all dogs joining our walks are properly vaccinated and regularly wormed. We are K9 First Aid and CPR trained.. Our vehicle is modern, safe, fitted with bespoke secure dog crates, and is fully air conditioned.

We have been DBS checked and your keys will be left unmarked, and in a safe place when not in use.
​​
We are fully insured by Clivertons Insurance.
FEED & FUSS CAT SERVICES
Fully Insured, DBS checked & K9 First Aid & CPR Trained
We love cats just as much as we love dogs and are pleased to offer twice daily visits to feed, fuss & care for your feline friend whilst you are away - allowing them to stay in the calm, stress-free comfort of their own home territory rather than being left in the unfamiliar surroundings of a cattery.

If you are considering leaving your cat at home during your next trip away, please drop us an email or give us a call & we will be pleased to pop to meet you all to discuss your requirements & how we can help make your cat's stay at home just purrfect!

Visits cost £24 / day (Monday - Friday; £28 / day at weekends, and £42 / day on Bank Holidays) for up to 2 cats & 2 visits (in St Mawes, with one visit morning & afternoon) and typically include:
​
- Letting out / letting in
- Cuddles, fuss, play & attention
- Feeding & refreshing water
- Brushing/combing if your cat enjoys being groomed
- Administering any required medication
- Cleaning litter tray daily / as required

Regular updates whilst you're away:
As with our doggy holiday services, our feline clients' families are kept up to date whilst they are away with messages and photographs sent by WhatsApp, text or email to suit - leaving you happy & assured that your cat is having a relaxed time at home in your absence.

We are fully insured key holders and DBS checked for our clients' peace of mind.

ABOUT US
Hello! My name is Emma, and with my 2 mud loving bundles of fur Dougie and Merry, I run The K9 Capers Co. - Professional Dog Walking in St Mawes, Cornwall.
​
I grew up in Ashburton, Devon and have always had a passion for dogs and the great outdoors - much of my own free time is spent exploring Devon and Cornwall's amazing walks with my husband and our hounds - great fun, exercise and entertainment for all of us!
​
Like most people I know how tricky it can be to balance a busy life. Much as we'd like to be able to juggle, it's just impossible to be in 2 places at once; truly understanding what an important part of the family dogs are, I decided to take the step I'd always dreamt of - to start my own professional Doggy Day Care, Dog Walking and Home Boarding (Pet Sitting) (ad!)venture.

The K9 Capers Co. is fully insured, I am trained in K9 First Aid and CPR, and I have been DBS checked for my clients' peace of mind.
​
We take our K9 Clients in packs of up to 6 (per walker) to dog friendly beaches, local woodlands and countryside where they can run to their hearts' content and play with their fellow caper-ers! Brilliant exercise and fantastic social stimulation.
​
Please be assured that dogs will only be let off lead to run with your express permission - if your K9 companion doesn't have the best recall or is happier walked on-lead then that's what we'll do.
​
A fun walk and doggy playtime will more often than not mean that mud will be involved! We will always endeavour to return dogs home with rinsed and towelled paws and tummies.
